I don't think the photographing would be a problem.
At 9pm we will have a patio fireplace set up close to the peace pole. We will burn logs and have a standard fire. The paper leaves (wishes) will be harvested from the trees inside the building and fed into the fire through a slot at the top of the chimney. The leaves burning are physically being transformed from paper into smoke, symbolically releasing them and adding energy through transformation.
There will be 3 table set up close to the doors leading into the building. These tables will have hot chocolate, smores bars, brownies, and hot fudge. There will also be a speaker set up to play music.
We will say a few words at the beginning to get the ceremony started, and then burn the leaves throughout the hour long event.
