First Event, Spencer

The infamous Frederick spires fill "Starry Night" themed boat floating on Carroll Creek on January 20, 2019. The boats adorn the creek while featuring different aspects about city of Frederick.

A dragon boat with shimmering light up teeth looks over Market Street towards the decorated boats on January 20, 2019. The dragon boat sits next to  La Paz and faces the Carroll Creek Promenade. 

The Snallygaster boat lights up the creek on January 20, 2019.  The Snallygaster is a dragon-like creature from folklore local to the Frederick and D.C. areas. 

The lights from the boats reflect in the cold creek water by Doner Bistro and Sweeties on January 20, 2019. The boats are seen in a neat row from above, on one of the many bridges that pass over the creek.
