CJ Blickenstaff: Portraits

Petty Officer First Class Bradley Blickenstaff is the Executive Petty Officer of US Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Baltimore, Maryland.  Here he stands in the pilothouse of the 49' BUSL, a stern loading utility boat.

Away from work, Bradley is a big fan of cold weather and cool sunglasses.

As Executive Petty Officer, he is responsible for a crew of approximately 15 people who are tasked daily with fixing local aids to navigation including lighthouses, buoys, and dayboards.

In addition to the capacity he serves at the Aids to Navigation Team, he has also performed as a Tactical Operations Instructor aboard Camp Lejeune.  As a result of this specialized training, he was deployed with the Marine Corps to Senegal, Africa in the Summer of 2015.

He balances his role as Coastguardsman, husband, and father flawlessly and can usually be found with a smile.
